Where is GHOST DJ Academy located and how can I get to the studio?

Our studio in Atakent, Ümraniye, Istanbul is open 7 days a week from 12:00 to 23:30. You can visit our studio by appointment and attend our lessons as a guest student.

What are the requirements to get a Pioneer DJ Certificate? How do I get the opportunity to perform?

Accepted Answer

At the end of your training, you will be subjected to a one-hour live performance exam in front of a camera with your own playlist. If you successfully complete it, your Pioneer DJ Global certificate will be delivered with a stamp and signature. Subsequently, if you have completed the "Professional" or "Expert" training packages, you are entitled to perform at GHOST Organization and Academy events.

Which music production programs do you provide training on? Does the music genre matter?

In our production training, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro veya Studio One options, you can choose whichever you prefer. Our expert instructors mentor you to achieve professional results in the music style you target.

What equipment and software are used in the training?

Accepted Answer

Our training uses industry-standard AlphaTheta ve Pioneer DJ setups (CDJs, mixers, and controller systems). Production and mixing training uses Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro X ve Studio One software. We also offer all students a 15% discount on AlphaTheta Pioneer products.

Is a certificate and stage opportunity provided after the training?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Students who successfully complete their training Global Pioneer Certificate qualify for the Global Pioneer Certificate. They also gain their first stage experience by performing at events and parties organized by Ghost DJ Academy.

Are the lessons one-on-one or group sessions?

Our DJ training is planned in groups of 2–3 people or as one-on-one private lessons, depending on demand. Production and Mixing & Mastering training is conducted entirely as one-on-one private instruction.

Is support provided for releasing produced tracks on digital platforms?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tracks/remixes successfully completed at the end of the production training Ghost in Town Records are released under contract across all digital music platforms. Students receive full support with artist account setup, distribution, and PR.

1. Does our communication with the academy continue after the training?Yes. Even after you complete your training, you will continue to receive lifetime technical support and guidance through our academy-exclusive alumni groups. You can also receive feedback from our instructors on your work and projects whenever you need it.  2. Are stage and performance opportunities provided after the training?Students who qualify for the GHOST Pioneer Certificate at the end of the training gain stage experience by performing live for the first time at parties and events organized by Ghost DJ Academy. Depending on the student’s individual skills and success, performance and stage opportunities may continue without any additional fee.  3. Is support provided for releasing my tracks and entering the music industry?Yes. Tracks/remixes successfully completed during our production training are released under contract on our label, Ghost in Town Records, across all digital music platforms. We also provide full support with artist account setup, music distribution, social media, and PR.

Are installment options available for training payments?Yes. For payments made with credit cards from our partner banks, installment options are available. You can get payment details from our finance department during your appointment.

Are payments collected based on lesson hours or packages?All GHOST training programs are priced according to a Package System model. This approach is designed to maximize continuity throughout the participant’s training process and professional development.

Why is there a price difference between group and private lessons?Private lessons are fully optimized according to the participant’s learning pace and chosen music style (Indie Dance, Tech House, etc.) One-on-One Mentoring process. Group lessons, on the other hand, are conducted in boutique classes of up to 4 people as a more cost-effective option based on collaborative learning.

Is a special discount available for students who purchase equipment?Through our store, 20.000 ₺participants who invest in professional equipment of %10 indirim receive a discount benefit on DJ and Music Production courses at the academy. This is a loyalty program we offer to aspiring artists who are part of the GHOST ecosystem. Operational costs such as visa, accommodation, and transportation are the participant’s responsibility.

Are refunds available if enrollment is frozen or a lesson is made up?Since our training is planned as package programs, refunds are not provided. However, in cases of force majeure, your training entitlement may be frozen or a make-up lesson may be scheduled subject to availability.
