FIRST PHASE: MASTER CLASS DJ TRAINING
1. Beginner Level Master Class (20 Hours)
Introduction to DJ and System Equipment and Basic Functions (4 Hours)
Content: Detailed introduction and use of basic DJ equipment such as Pioneer CDJ, DJM mixer. System setup, mixer, crossover details.
This section will explain the equipment interfaces, connection methods and how to make basic settings.
Goal: To introduce students to DJ equipment and provide them with basic usage skills.
Basic Beatmatching and EQ Techniques (5 Hours)
Content: Matching the tempo between two songs, using EQ, and ensuring smooth song transitions.
In this section, we will cover using your ear when beatmatching, managing frequencies with EQ, and balancing transitions.
Goal: To teach students how to create smooth transitions through proper beatmatching and EQ use.
Music Theory and Set Structure (4 Hours)
Content: Basic music theory, song structures, and how to build DJ sets.
This section will cover how to use music theory in DJing, harmonic mixing and set editing techniques.
Goal: To teach students how to integrate knowledge of music theory into their DJ sets.
Basic Mixing Techniques and Performance (5 Hours)
Content: Basic mixing techniques, using loops, hot cues and transitions.
This section will cover how to make smooth transitions and how to use loops and hot cues creatively.
Additionally, practice will be given through small performance trials.
Goal: To teach students basic mixing and transition techniques and prepare them to perform on stage.
Project Review and Implementation (2 Hours)
Content: Examining students' projects and giving feedback.
In this section, students will present their sets and receive feedback, as well as the opportunity to practice and apply what they have learned.
Goal: To help students improve their performance by providing opportunities to practice and apply what they have learned.
2. Intermediate DJ Master Class (10 Hours)
Advanced Transition Techniques and Effect Usage (3 Hours)
Content: Advanced transition techniques, creative use of effects, and harmonic mixing.
In this section, students will learn more complex transition techniques, creative use of effects, and harmonic mixing.
Goal: To provide students with advanced transition and effects skills, making their sets more professional.
Set Planning and Organizing (2 Hours)
Content: Planning the DJ set, organizing the songs, ensuring the flow within the set.
In this section, students will learn strategies for creating a set, what to consider when choosing songs, and what to do to make the set flow smoothly.
Goal: To provide students with the skills to create professional DJ sets.
Live Performance Preparation (3 Hours)
Content: Preparation before the live performance, stage presence and interaction with the audience.
In this section, students will learn how to prepare for a live performance, what to consider before going on stage, and techniques for interacting with the audience.
Goal: To provide students with the skills necessary to perform confidently on stage.
Live Recording and Performance Analysis (2 Hours)
Content: Recording of live sets, performance analysis and feedback.
In this section, students will record and analyze their own performance and receive feedback from their instructors.
Goal: To provide students with the ability to analyze and improve their performance.
3. Advanced DJ Master Class (10 Hours)
Advanced Deck Techniques and Acapella Usage (4 Hours)
Content: 3 deck mixing, acapella usage, complex transitions and effects combinations.
In this section, students will enhance their kit by learning more complex deck techniques, how to use acapellas in mixes, and combining effects.
Goal: To provide students with professional level deck and acapella usage skills.
Club Performance and Set Preparation (3 Hours)
Content: Preparing to perform in a club environment, potential challenges, and recording a set.
In this section, students will learn specific preparation techniques for club performances, how to overcome potential difficulties they may encounter on stage, and how to record their sets.
Goal: To enable students to exhibit professional performances in a club environment.
Managing Your Career in the Music Industry (2 Hours)
Content: DJ career management, booking, promotional strategies and networking.
In this section, students will learn how to advance their DJ careers, the booking and promotion processes, and how to network in the music industry.
Goal: To provide students with the skills to build a successful DJ career in the music industry.
Performance and Feedback (1 Hour)
Content: Providing feedback on students' live performances.
In this section, students will showcase their own performances and receive detailed feedback from their instructors.
Goal: To evaluate students' performance at the final stage and raise it to a professional level.
PHASE TWO: MASTER CLASS PRODUCTION TRAINING
1. Beginner Production Master Class (20 Hours)
DAW Introduction and Basic Functions (4 Hours)
Content: Getting to know a DAW like Ableton, Logic Pro or FL Studio, using basic editing tools.
In this section, students will learn the basic functions of the DAW, such as the interface, basic tools, creating and editing tracks.
It will also explain how to save and manage projects.
Goal: To enable students to do basic music production using a DAW.
Basic Sound Design (5 Hours)
Content: Creating synth sounds, using samples, and adding simple effects.
Students will learn how to work with basic oscillators, filters, and envelopes. This section will cover how to create simple synth sounds and pads, add simple drum samples, and add basic effects such as reverb and delay.
Goal: To develop basic sound design skills and be able to create original sounds in their own music.
Rhythm Structure and Beatmaking (5 Hours)
Content: Basic beatmaking techniques, creating drum patterns.
Students will learn how to program basic drum sounds such as kick, snare, hi-hat, and how to create different rhythm patterns and grooves. Techniques for creating rhythms suitable for different musical genres will also be covered.
Goal: To provide students with rhythm creation and beatmaking skills and to learn the rhythm structures that form the basis of music.
Mixing and Editing Techniques (4 Hours)
Content: Basic mixing techniques, audio editing and automation.
This section will focus on combining sounds, creating a balanced mix, basic EQ and compression techniques, and dynamic control using automation. It will also cover how to organize the overall structure of tracks and how to create transitions within a song."
Goal: To provide students with basic mixing and editing skills so they can achieve clean and professional sound in their music productions.
Project Review and Implementation (2 Hours)
Content: Examining students' projects and giving feedback.
In this section, students will present their projects in class and receive feedback from other students and instructors. They will also be guided to apply and improve what they have learned.
Goal: To provide students with feedback and help them improve their projects by providing them with the opportunity to practice and apply what they have learned.

Advanced Sound Design Techniques (3 Hours)
Content: In-depth study of layering, sample manipulation, and synthesis.
Students will learn how to create complex synth patches, combine different layers of sounds, and manipulate sounds to create new tones. Advanced techniques such as granular synthesis and wavetable synthesis will also be covered.
Goal: To enable students to achieve more creative and unique sounds in their music productions by learning more complex sound design techniques.
Mixing and Mastering (3 Hours)
Content: Basic mixing and mastering techniques, EQ, compression.
This section will cover mixing, frequency management, stereo imaging, and dynamic control techniques. It will also cover the mastering process, which is the final version of the song, optimizing the volume, adjusting the overall tone, and getting it ready for distribution.
The goal: To teach students professional-quality mixing and mastering techniques so that the music they produce is ready for release.
Arranger Techniques and Structuring (2 Hours)
Content: Creating song structure, managing transitions and dynamics.
This section will cover how to structure a song, how to balance sections such as intro, verse, chorus, and outro. It will also cover how to smooth transitions within a song and create a dynamic flow.
Goal: To create a more effective structure for songs and to make dynamic transitions that will keep the listener engaged in the song.
Creative Production Techniques (2 Hours)
Content: Using creative effects and loops, working on various musical genres.
Students will use creative production techniques to create productions specific to different musical genres. In this section, students will work on creative use of effects, rearranging loops, and production techniques appropriate for different musical genres.
Goal: To develop students' creative production skills and enable them to make original productions in different musical genres.
3. High Level Production Master Class (10 Hours)
Advanced Mixing and Mastering Techniques (4 Hours)
Content: Advanced mixing and mastering techniques, multiband compression, parallel processing.
In this section, students will be taught more complex mixing techniques, using advanced techniques such as multiband compression, parallel compression, mid-side processing, etc. Additionally, various tools and techniques used in the mastering process will be explained.
Goal: To take students to a professional level and provide them with more sophisticated and competitive mixing and mastering skills.
Live Production Techniques (3 Hours)
Content: Live production, live performance via DAW, live set preparation.
In this section, students will prepare for a live performance using a DAW, optimizing loops and effects for live performance, and techniques for live music production on stage will also be covered.
Goal: To teach the production skills necessary for live performances and to enable students to perform live music on stage.
Music Industry Knowledge (2 Hours)
Content: Track release processes, copyrights, music distribution and promotion.
In this section, students will learn how to release their songs, manage copyrights, and promote their music. They will also be provided with information on music distribution and promotional strategies on digital platforms.
Goal: To teach students how to manage themselves in the music industry and get their songs released successfully.
Industry Standard Production (1 Hour)
Content: Collaboration with labels and agencies, song releases, promotions.
In this section, students will learn how to collaborate with music labels and agencies, release their songs, and promote their music.
Goal: To develop the skills required to be recognized on international platforms and to build a professional career by collaborating with labels and agencies.
Prior experience is expected for DJ and Production training. If the candidate's education and experience are deemed sufficient, they may be exempt from some packages.
