Students are informed about electronic music styles and DJ terminology, and are given beat synchronization practices that will improve their rhythm keeping and beat counting abilities.
Mixing Types and Techniques
Classic and Club mixing techniques are demonstrated. Beat synchronization practices continue.
Hot Cue, FX, CFX, Loop Usage
The use of effects and loops in DJ equipment is integrated into mixing techniques.
DJ Software (AlphaTheta Pioneer Rekodbox 7)
Details of the Rekordbox "Export" and "Performance" modes are shown. The student can create his own playlist and use it during the performance.
